You could purchase a PSE Stinger and not need anything else for your entire hunting career. A better bow is a good investment once you’ve sunk at least 6 months into shooting to get a baseline.Īnything PSE or Bear will serve a beginner well until they decide they want something flashier… and make no mistake, calling it a “beginner” bow is a misnomer. Doing anything new is uncomfortable at best, and what you think is “good” and “comfortable” will likely change rather quickly.
